Request API Access

To use the Vehicle Data API, you must request access to API first.

STEP 1. Sign Up​

Sign up at Pleos Playground.

STEP 2. Create Project​

  1. Create a project under Pleos Playground > My Project.
  2. On the New Project screen, enter the project information and click the Create button.

STEP 3. Request Access to the Vehicle Data API​

  1. Select the relevant project under Pleos Playground > My Project.

  2. In the left sidebar of the project screen, go to API > Vehicle Data.

  3. Click the Request Access button.

  4. On the API Access Request screen, enter the required information and select the Vehicle Data APIs you want to use.

  • Among the information entered on the API Access Request screen, the value in User Authorization Information > OAuth login > Login redirect URL is required during the access token issuance process.
  • Among the information entered on the API Access Request screen, the value in User Authorization Information > Connected car data sharing request > Data sharing agreement redirect URL is required during the access token issuance process.
  • Among the information entered on the API Access Request screen, the value entered under User Authorization Information > Connected car data sharing request > Data sharing end callback URL is the URL that the service will use to send a notification when the vehicle owner requests to stop data sharing via the vehicle brand’s service.

  1. Press the Request Access button and wait for use approval. An email will be sent upon approval.

  2. You can check the approval status under API > API Access Request History in the left sidebar of the project screen.

STEP 4. Vehicle Data API Access Approval​

After STEP 3, the request will go through a review process and may be approved or rejected. The Vehicle Data API can only be used after approval is completed. The Vehicle Data API approval process is as follows.
