Screen Components
The Pleos Connect screen consists of system UI elements and application windows, as described below:
-
Status bar: Includes system status such as driving status, Gleo AI and search, clock, network status, microphone status, notification center, and profile selection.
-
Driving view: Displays driving and safety information such as telltales, speed, and vehicle status.
-
Global Navigation Bar (GNB): Includes App Library, favorite apps, and climate controls.
-
Application window: The area where active applications are displayed. Up to two apps can be shown simultaneously. Therefore, aside from applications that only support a single mode (e.g., landscape-only games), all apps should be designed to adapt properly to both landscape and portrait layouts.
Screen Layers
System UI elements such as the status bar at the top, GNB panels like the App Library and climate controls, and the keyboard are positioned on a layer above the application window. As a result, these elements may temporarily cover the application window when in use.
Display Types
The displays of Pleos Connect are categorized into three types: Standard, Lite, and Wide.
- Connect-S : The default display type; "S" stands for Standard.
- Connect-L : A smaller display that provides only essential in-vehicle features.
- Connect-W : A wide display used mainly in premium vehicles. Its height can expand depending on the vehicle’s status.
