Screen Components

The Pleos Connect screen consists of system UI elements and application windows, as described below:

  1. Status bar: Includes system status such as driving status, Gleo AI and search, clock, network status, microphone status, notification center, and profile selection.

  2. Driving view: Displays driving and safety information such as telltales, speed, and vehicle status.

  3. Global Navigation Bar (GNB): Includes App Library, favorite apps, and climate controls.

  4. Application window: The area where active applications are displayed. Up to two apps can be shown simultaneously. Therefore, aside from applications that only support a single mode (e.g., landscape-only games), all apps should be designed to adapt properly to both landscape and portrait layouts.

Screen Layers

System UI elements such as the status bar at the top, GNB panels like the App Library and climate controls, and the keyboard are positioned on a layer above the application window. As a result, these elements may temporarily cover the application window when in use.

Display Types

The display of Pleos Connect is divided into two types: Standard and Wide. The previous Connect-L has been reclassified under Connect-S.

  • Connect-S : A display provided in the standard OS size, where “S” stands for Standard.
  • Connect-W : A wide display that is longer horizontally compared to the Standard type. It is mainly used in premium vehicle models and can extend vertically depending on the vehicle’s status.
    • Waterfall : A type of Wide display that offers a smaller aspect ratio compared to the Standard display. Despite its smaller size, it provides all the essential in-vehicle functions.
